My Approach
I believe therapy can be a powerful and effective conduit to change. The most important factor in successful therapy is the client’s willingness and readiness for change. I work just as hard as my client is willing to work. Therapy is a collaborative approach between client and therapist.
Clients who work with me find me to be genuine, honest, supportive, trustworthy, empathetic, and warm. I consider it my obligation to provide my clients with a space that is private, safe, and free of judgment or criticism.
My Background
I am a fully licensed and credentialed psychotherapist (license# MH10064). I have extensive clinical experience in working with individuals, couples, adolescents and families. Prior to beginning my private practice, I worked at the world renowned Renfrew Center, an eating disorder treatment center, as a primary therapist.
As as a working mother, wife, and community member I also have extensive life experience and understanding about the difficulties of maintaining relationships, raising a family, and keeping true to yourself and your needs.
