
The following information is provided so you and I can work together with greater ease and misunderstandings are minimized. I’m available to answer questions regarding these policies at any point during the treatment process.
Scheduling & Appointment Times:
Prior to scheduling your first session I will conduct a brief consultation with you over the telephone. During this interchange we may discuss your reason for seeking therapy, prior exposure to counseling, scheduling concerns, fees and insurance coverage. I make a concerted effort to work cooperatively with my clients in arranging a feasible appointment time.
Session Duration & Cancellation Policy:
Therapy sessions are 50 minutes in duration. I reserve this time for your meeting. Therefore, if you need to cancel an appointment please provide me with a minimum of 24 hours notice in order to avoid being charged for the session. You will be responsible for the payment directly if an appointment is missed without sufficient notice. If you miss an appointment without prior notification due to exceptional circumstances, feel free to discuss the matter with me. If you are late, you will be seen for the time remaining and charged for the full fee.
Fee For Service:
I am a fee for service practice, therefore I do not accept insurance. My goal is to develop a relationship with you not an insurance company.
Initial consultation is complimentary (30 minutes max).
Individual Therapy: initial assessment session (90 minutes) $135, $100 per session thereafter.
Reduced fee services are available on a limited basis.
Payment forms accepted: cash or check payable at the end of the session or paypal (paid in full prior to the session).
